1 Then He said to the disciples, "It is impossible for offenses not to come, but woe [to the one] through whom they do come!
1 And he said unto his disciples, It is impossible but that occasions of stumbling should come; but woe unto him, through whom they come!
2 It would be better for him if a millstone were around his neck, and he be cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
2 It were well for him if a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.

3 Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.
3 Be attentive to yourselves. If your brother has sinned against you, correct him. And if he has repented, forgive him.
