And He entered again into the synagogue. And a man was there who had a withered hand.

JESUS entered again into the synagogue, and there was there a man whose hand was withered.

And they were observing Him, whether He would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse Him.

And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.

And they observed him, to see if he would cure on the Sabbaths, so that they might accuse him.

And He said to the [one] who had the withered hand, "Step forward."

And he saith unto the man that had his hand withered, Stand forth.

Then He said to them, "Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?"But they kept silent.

And he saith unto them, Is it lawful on the sabbath day to do good, or to do harm? to save a life, or to kill? But they held their peace.

And he said to them: “Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbaths, or to do evil, to give health to a life, or to destroy?” But they remained silent.

And looking around at them with anger, being grieved at the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, "Stretch out your hand."And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored as whole as the other.

And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved at the hardening of their heart, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he stretched it forth; and his hand was restored.

Then the Pharisees went out with the Herodians and immediately conspired against Him, how they might destroy Him.

And the Pharisees went out, and straightway with the Herodians took counsel against him, how they might destroy him.
