Now it came to pass, when Jesus finished directing His twelve disciples, that He moved on from there to teach and to preach in their cities.

And it happened that, when Jesus had completed instructing his twelve disciples, he went away from there in order to teach and to preach in their cities.

WHEN Jesus had finished commanding his twelve disciples, he departed from that place to teach and to preach in their cities.

And when John had heard in prison about the works of the Messiah, having sent two of his disciples,

he said to Him, "Are You the Coming One, or do we look for a different [one]?"

and said unto him, Art thou he that cometh, or look we for another?

“Are you he who is to come, or should we expect another?”

Jesus answered and said to them, "Go and report to John the things which you hear and see

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and tell John the things which ye hear and see

And Jesus, responding, said to them: “Go and report to John what you have heard and seen.
