1 Now it came to pass, when Jesus finished directing His twelve disciples, that He moved on from there to teach and to preach in their cities.
1 And it happened that, when Jesus had completed instructing his twelve disciples, he went away from there in order to teach and to preach in their cities.
1 WHEN Jesus had finished commanding his twelve disciples, he departed from that place to teach and to preach in their cities.
2 And when John had heard in prison about the works of the Messiah, having sent two of his disciples,
2 But when John heard in prison of the works of Christ, he sent by his disciples,
3 he said to Him, "Are You the Coming One, or do we look for a different [one]?"
3 and said unto him, Art thou he that cometh, or look we for another?
3 “Are you he who is to come, or should we expect another?”
4 Jesus answered and said to them, "Go and report to John the things which you hear and see
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and tell John the things which ye hear and see
4 And Jesus, responding, said to them: “Go and report to John what you have heard and seen.
