1 O Lord, rebuke me not in thy wrath, neither chasten me in thine anger.

1 O Lord, do not rebuke me in your fury, nor chastise me in your anger.
2 Be gracious unto me, O YHWH, for I languish away; heal me, O LORD, for my bones are affrighted.
2 Pity me, O Lord; for I am weak: heal me, O Lord; for my bones are vexed.
Ps6:2 Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am weak. Heal me, Lord, for my bones have become disturbed,
3 My soul also is sore affrighted; and Thou, O YHWH, how long?
Ps6:3 and my soul has been very troubled. But as for you, Lord, when?
3 My soul is also troubled exceedingly but thou, O LORD, how long?
4 Return, O YHWH, deliver my soul; save me for Thy mercy's sake.
Ps6:4 Turn to me, Lord, and rescue my soul. Save me because of your mercy.
5 For in death there is no remembrance of Thee; in the nether-world who will give Thee thanks?
5 For in death no man remembers thee: and who will give thee thanks in Hades?
Ps6:5 For there is no one in death who would be mindful of you. And who will confess to you in Hell?
6 I am weary with my groaning; every night make I my bed to swim; I melt away my couch with my tears.
6 I am wearied with my groaning; I shall wash my bed every night; I shall water my couch with tears.
Ps6:6 I have labored in my groaning. Every night, with my tears, I will wash my bed and drench my blanket.
7 Mine eye is dimmed because of vexation; it waxeth old because of all mine adversaries.
Ps6:7 My eye has been troubled by rage. I have grown old among all my enemies.
8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for YHWH hath heard the voice of my weeping.
Ps6:8 Scatter before me, all you who work iniquity, for the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping.
9 YHWH hath heard my supplication; YHWH receiveth my prayer.
9 The Lord has hearkened to my petition; the Lord has accepted my prayer.
10 All mine enemies shall be ashamed and sore affrighted; they shall turn back, they shall be ashamed suddenly.
10 Let all mine enemies be put to shame and sore troubled: let them be turned back and grievously put to shame speedily.
Ps6:10 Let all my enemies be ashamed and together be greatly troubled. May they be converted and become ashamed very quickly.
7:1 O YHWH my God, in Thee have I taken refuge; save me from all them that pursue me, and deliver me;

7:2 Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
2 Lest at any time the enemy seize my soul as a lion, while there is none to ransom, nor to save.
2 Lest my soul be torn as by a lion, and there is no one to save me and to deliver me.
7:3 O YHWH my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
3 O Lord my God, if I have done this; (if there is unrighteousness in my hands;)

7:4 If I have requited him that did evil unto me, or spoiled mine adversary unto emptiness;
Ps7:4 if I have repaid those who rendered evils to me, may I deservedly fall away empty before my enemies
4 If I have been vengeful to him that has done me evil, and if I have oppressed my enemies without a cause;
7:5 Let the enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it, and tread my life down to the earth; yea, let him lay my glory in the dust. Selah
7:6 Arise, O YHWH, in Thine anger, lift up Thyself in indignation against mine adversaries; yea, awake for me at the judgment which Thou hast commanded.
6 Arise, O Lord, in thy wrath; be exalted in the utmost boundaries of mine enemies: awake, O Lord my God, according to the decree which thou didst command.
Ps7:6 Rise up, Lord, in your anger. And be exalted to the borders of my enemies. And rise up, O Lord my God, according to the precept that you commanded,
7:7 And let the congregation of the peoples compass Thee about, and over them return Thou on high.
Ps7:7 and a congregation of people will surround you. And, because of this, return on high.
7:8 O YHWH, who ministerest judgment to the peoples, judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
8 The Lord shall judge the nations: judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to my innocence that is in me.
Ps7:8 The Lord judges the people. Judge me, O Lord, according to my justice and according to my innocence within me.
7:9 Oh that a full measure of evil might come upon the wicked, and that Thou wouldest establish the righteous; for the righteous God trieth the heart and reins.
9 Oh let the wickedness of sinners come to an end; and then thou shalt direct the righteous, O God that searchest the hearts and reins.
Ps7:9 The wickedness of sinners will be consumed, and you will direct the just: the examiner of hearts and temperaments is God.
7:10 My shield is with God, who saveth the upright in heart.
Ps7:10 Just is my help from the Lord, who saves the upright of heart.
10 O God who saveth the upright in heart, O righteous God, help me.
7:11 God is a righteous judge, yea, a God that hath indignation every day
Ps7:11 God is a just judge, strong and patient. How could he be angry throughout every day?
7:12 If a man turn not, He will whet His sword, He hath bent His bow, and made it ready;
Ps7:12 Unless you will be converted, he will brandish his sword. He has extended his bow and made it ready.
7:13 He hath also prepared for him the weapons of death, yea, His arrows which He made sharp.
13 And on it he has fitted the instruments of death; he has completed his arrows for the raging ones.
Ps7:13 And with it, he has prepared instruments of death. He has produced his arrows for those on fire.
7:14 Behold, he travaileth with iniquity; yea, he conceiveth mischief, and bringeth forth falsehood.
Ps7:14 Behold him who has given birth to injustice: he has conceived sorrow and has begotten iniquity.
14 Because the wicked has become corrupt and has conceived mischief and brought forth falsehood,
7:15 He hath digged a pit, and hollowed it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
Ps7:15 He has opened a pit and enlarged it. And he has fallen into the hole that he made.
15 He has made a well, and deepened it, and is fallen into the pit which he made.
7:16 His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violence shall come down upon his own pate.
16 His trouble shall return on his own head, and his unrighteousness shall come down on his own crown.
Ps7:16 His sorrow will be turned upon his own head, and his iniquity will descend upon his highest point.
7:17 I will give thanks unto YHWH according to His righteousness; and will sing praise to the name of the YHWH Most High.
Ps7:17 I will confess to the Lord according to his justice, and I will sing a psalm to the name of the Lord Most High.
17 I will praise the LORD according to my righteousness; and I will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.
