Zephaniah 3:14–17

14  Sing, O daughter of Zion, shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.

Zep3:15  The Lord has taken away thine iniquities, he has ransomed thee from the hand of thine enemies: the Lord, the King of Israel, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.

14  Give praise, daughter of Zion. Shout joyfully, Israel. Rejoice and exult with all your heart, daughter of Jerusalem.

15  YHWH hath taken away thy judgments, He hath cast out thine enemy; The King of Israel, even YHWH, is in the midst of thee; thou shalt not fear evil any more.

Zep3:16  At that time the Lord shall say to Jerusalem, Be of good courage, Sion; let not thine hands be slack.

15  The Lord has taken away your judgment; he has turned aside your foes. The king of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst; you shall no longer fear evil.

16  In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: 'Fear thou not; O Zion, let not thy hands be slack.

Zep3:17  The Lord thy God is in thee; the Mighty One shall save thee: he shall bring joy upon thee, and shall refresh thee with his love; and he shall rejoice over thee with delight as in a day of feasting.

16  In that day, it will be said to Jerusalem, “Do not be afraid,” and to Zion, “Do not let your hands be weakened.”

17  YHWH thy God is in the midst of thee, a Mighty One who will save; He will rejoice over thee with joy, He will be silent in His love, He will joy over thee with singing.'

Zep3:18  And I will gather thine afflicted ones. Alas! who has taken up a reproach against her?

17  The Lord your God is the strength in your midst; he will save. He will rejoice over you with gladness. In his love, he will be silent. He will exult over you with praise.
