We are obligated to give thanks to God always for you, brothers, [and ]rightfully so, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all increases towards one another,

We ought to give thanks always to God for you, brothers, in a fitting manner, because your faith is increasing greatly, and because the charity of each of you toward one another is abundant,

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

so that we ourselves are boasting in you among the churches of God about your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure,

so much so that we ourselves even glory in you among the churches of God, because of your patience and faith in all of your persecutions and tribulations that you endure,

[which is] evidence of the righteous judgment of God, so that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, on behalf of which you also suffer;

which are a sign of the just judgment of God, so that you may be held worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer.

As an example of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be made worthy of his kingdom, for which you also suffer.

since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,

For certainly, it is just for God to repay trouble to those who trouble you,

And if it seems a righteous thing, before the presence of God, he will recompense tribulation to those who oppress you;

These shall pay a penalty-eternal destruction from the presence of YHWH and from the glory of His might,

11  Therefore we also pray always concerning you that our God may count you worthy of [this] calling, and may fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power,

2:7  For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains [will continue ]until one arises from out of [the] midst.

FINALLY, brethren, pray for us, that the word of our LORD may spread freely, and be glorified in every place even as it is among you

Byz Nes S TR

3:2  and that we may be delivered from evil and wicked men; for not all have faith.

2Thes3:3  But God is faithful. He will strengthen you, and he will guard you from evil.

Byz

3:3  But YHWH is faithful, who will establish you and will guard you from the evil one.

But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and guard you from the evil [one].

2Thes3:4  And we have confidence about you in the Lord, that you are doing, and will continue to do, just as we have instructed.

Byz Nes TR

3:4  And we trust in YHWH concerning you, that the[ ]things which we command to you, you are both doing, and will do [them.]

We have confidence in you through our LORD, that the things we have commanded you to do, you have done and will continue to do.

Byz

3:5  Now may YHWH direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.

And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patience of Christ.

2Thes3:6  But we strongly caution you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to draw yourselves away from every brother who is walking in disorder and not according to the tradition that they received from us.

Byz Nes S TR

3:6  But we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from every brother living in idleness, and not according to the tradition which they received from us.

2Thes3:7  For you yourselves know the manner in which you ought to imitate us. For we were not disorderly among you.

Byz TR S

3:7  For you yourselves know how you ought to follow us, for we were not disorderly among you;

For yourselves know how ye ought to imitate us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;

Byz

3:8  nor did we eat bread from anyone without paying, but in labor and hardship, working night and day, so as not to be a burden to any of you,

neither did we eat bread for nought at any man`s hand, but in labor and travail, working night and day, that we might not burden any of you

2Thes3:9  It was not as if we had no authority, but this was so that we might present ourselves as an example to you, in order to imitate us.

Byz Nes

3:9  not because we do not have authority, but in order that we may give ourselves as a pattern to you, so that you might follow us.

2Thes3:10  Then, too, while we were with you, we insisted on this to you: that if anyone was not willing to work, neither should he eat.

Not because we did not have the right, but to make ourselves an example to you to follow us.

Byz Nes S TR

3:10  For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat!

2Thes3:11  For we have heard that there are some among you who act disruptively, not working at all, but eagerly meddling.

Byz TR Nes S

3:11  For we hear [that] some are walking among you in a disorderly way, not working at all, but being busybodies.

2Thes3:12  Now we charge those who act in this way, and we beg them in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work in silence and eat their own bread.

Byz

3:12  And to such [people] we command and urge by our Lord Jesus Christ that they work in quietness and eat their own bread.

12  Now them that are such we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

2Thes3:13  And you, brothers, do not grow weak in doing good.

3:13  But as for you, brothers, do not lose heart [in] doing good.

13  But ye, brethren, be not weary in well-doing.

2Thes3:14  But if anyone does not obey our word by this epistle, take note of him and do not keep company with him, so that he may be ashamed.

3:14  Now if anyone does not obey our word in this letter, take note of him, and do not associate with him, that he may be ashamed.

14  And if any man obeyeth not our word by this epistle, note that man, that ye have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed.

2Thes3:15  But do not be willing to consider him as an enemy; instead, correct him as a brother.

3:15  Yet do not consider him as an enemy, but admonish [him] as a brother.
