I SAW when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four beasts saying in a voice as of thunder, Come and see.

And behold, a white horse. And he who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering, and to conquer.

Another horse went out, fiery red, and it was granted to him that sat on it to take peace from the earth, so that they might kill each other; and there was given to him a great sword.

And another [horse] came forth, a red horse: and to him that sat thereon it was given to take peace from the earth, and that they should slay one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

And there went out another horse, and it was red, and to him who sat on it was given power to take away peace from the earth, that people should kill one another: and there was given to him a great sword.

And when He opened the third seal, I heard the third living being say, "Come."And behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.

And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying: “Draw near and see.” And behold, a black horse. And he who was sitting upon it was holding a balance in his hand.

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living beings, saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; but do not harm the oil and the wine."

And I heard something like a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A double measure of wheat for a denarius, and three double measures of barley for a denarius, but do no harm to wine and oil.”

And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying: “Draw near and see.”

And behold, a pale horse, and he who sat on it was named Death, and Hades was following him. And authority was given to him over a fourth of the earth, to kill with [the ]sword, and with famine, and with death, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

And I saw, and behold, a pale horse: and he that sat upon him, his name was Death; and Hades followed with him. And there was given unto them authority over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with famine, and with death, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

And I looked, and beheld a pale horse; and the name of him who sat on him was Death, and Hell followed after him. And power was given him over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with famine, and with death, and with the wild beasts of the earth.

And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held.

10  And they cried [with] a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, do You not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?"

10  And they were crying out with a loud voice, saying: “How long, O Holy and True Lord, will you not judge and not vindicate our blood against those who dwell upon the earth?”

11  Then a long white robe was given to them, and it was said to them that they should rest yet a while, until also their fellow servants and their brothers, who were about to be killed as also they [were], should complete [their course].

11  And there was given them to each one a white robe; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little time, until their fellow-servants also and their brethren, who should be killed even as they were, should have fulfilled [their course].

11  And white robes were given to each of them. And they were told that they should rest for a brief time, until their fellow servants and their brothers, who were to be slain even as they were slain, would be completed.

12  And I saw when He opened the sixth seal, that there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the whole moon became like blood.

12  And when he had opened the sixth seal, I saw, and behold, a great earthquake occurred. And the sun became black, like a haircloth sack, and the entire moon became like blood.

13  And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, like a fig tree casting its untimely figs, being shaken by a mighty wind.

13  and the stars of the heaven fell unto the earth, as a fig tree casteth her unripe figs when she is shaken of a great wind.

14  Then the sky was split like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island were removed out of their places.

14  And the heaven was removed as a scroll when it is rolled up; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

14  And heaven receded, like a scroll being rolled up. And every mountain, and the islands, were moved from their places.

15  And the kings of the earth, and the magnates and the high-ranking military men, and the rich and the mighty, and every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the crags of the mountains.

16  And they said to the mountains and crags, "Fall on us and hide us from [the] face of Him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb!

17  For the great day of His wrath has come, and who shall be able to stand?"

7:1  And after this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so that a wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

After these things, I saw four Angels standing above the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so that they would not blow upon the earth, nor upon the sea, nor upon any tree.

7:2  Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it had been granted to harm the earth and the sea,

And I saw another angel ascend from the sunrising, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a great voice to the four angels to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,

7:3  saying, "Do not harm the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads."

Do not hurt the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God upon their brows.

7:4  And I heard the number of those having been sealed, one hundred and forty-four thousand having been sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Israel

7:9  After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no man could number, out of every nation, and [from] tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, having been clothed in long white robes, with palm branches in their hands.

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

7:10  And they cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation [belongs] to our God, to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!"

7:11  And all the angels stood around the throne, and the elders and the four living beings, and they fell down on their faces before His throne and they worshipped God,

7:12  saying: "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, and thanksgiving and honor and power and might, [be] to our God forever and ever. Amen."

7:13  Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, "Who are these arrayed in long white robes, and where did they come from?"

13  And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, These that are arrayed in white robes, who are they, and whence came they?

7:14  And I said to him, "My lord, you know."So he said to me, "These are those who come out of the Great Tribulation, and have washed their robes and they made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

7:15  Therefore they are before the throne of God, and they serve Him day and night in His temple. And He that sits on the throne shall dwell among them.

7:16  They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; nor shall the sun by any means strike them, nor any scorching heat;

7:17  because the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shepherds them, and He leads them to [the ]springs of [the] waters of life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

17  for the Lamb that is in the midst of the throne shall be their shepherd, and shall guide them unto fountains of waters of life: and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes.

17  For the Lamb, who is in the midst of the throne, will rule over them, and he will lead them to the fountains of the waters of life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

8:1  And when He opened the seventh seal, silence occurred in heaven [for] about half an hour.

8:2  And I saw the seven angels who stood before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

And I saw seven Angels standing in the sight of God. And seven trumpets were given to them.

8:3  Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. And much incense was given to him, so that he could offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which is before the throne.

And another Angel approached, and he stood before the altar, holding a golden censer. And much incense was given to him, so that he might offer upon the golden altar, which is before the throne of God, the prayers of all the saints.

8:4  And the smoke of the incense went up with the prayers of the saints out of the hand of the angel before God.

8:5  And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and he cast it to the earth. And there were thunders and voices and lightnings and an earthquake.

8:6  So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound the trumpets.

8:7  And the first [one] sounded [his] trumpet, and there was hail and fire, having been mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth; and a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees was burned up, and all green grass was burned up.

The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with water, and they were poured upon the earth: and a third part of the earth was burnt up and a third part of the trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

8:8  Then the second angel sounded [his] trumpet, and [something] like a great burning mountain was cast into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood.

And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;

8:9  And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

and there died the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, [even] they that had life; and the third part of the ships was destroyed.

8:10  Then the third angel sounded [his] trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the fountains of water.

10  And the third angel sounded, and there fell from heaven a great star, burning as a torch, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of the waters;

8:11  And the name of the star is called Wormwood. And a third of the waters turned into wormwood, and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter.

8:12  Then the fourth angel sounded [his] trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them was darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night.

12  And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; that the third part of them should be darkened, and the day should not shine for the third part of it, and the night in like manner.

8:13  And I saw, and I heard an eagle flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, "Woe, woe, woe [for] those who dwell on the earth, from the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are to sound [their] trumpets!"
