Peace be with you and grace from God our Father, and from our LORD Jesus Christ

Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ,

just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him in love,

Just as from the beginning he has chosen us through him, before the foundation of the world, that we may become holy and without blemish before him.

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love

having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,

He has predestined us to adoption as sons, through Jesus Christ, in himself, according to the purpose of his will,

And he marked us with his love to be his from the beginning, and adopted us to be sons through Jesus Christ, as it pleased his will.

to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He bestowed favor upon us in the Beloved.

for the praise of the glory of his grace, with which he has gifted us in his beloved Son.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

That that grace which has abounded in us, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

So does he make known to us the mystery of his will, which he has set forth in Christ, in a manner well-pleasing to him,

And because he has made known to us the mystery of his will, as he has ordained from the very beginning, to work through it;

10  for an administration of the fullness of the times, [He might ]bring together all things in Christ, those in heaven and those on the earth-in Him.

11  In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,

11  In him, we too are called to our portion, having been predestined in accord with the plan of the One who accomplishes all things by the counsel of his will.

11  By whom we have been chosen, as he had marked us from the beginning so he wanted to carry out everything according to the good judgment of his will

12  so that we should be to the praise of His glory, we who first trusted in Christ;

12  to the end that we should be unto the praise of his glory, we who had before hoped in Christ

12  So may we be, to the praise of his glory, we who have hoped beforehand in Christ.

13  in whom also you, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

14  who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the possession, to the praise of His glory.

14  Which is the pledge of our inheritance, for the salvation of those who are saved, and for the glory of his honour.

15  Because of this I also, after I heard of your faith in YHWH Jesus and your love for all the saints,

15  For this cause I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you, and the love which [ye show] toward all the saints,

15  Wherefore I also, since I heard of your faith in our LORD Jesus Christ, and your love toward all the saints,

16  do not cease to give thanks concerning you, making mention of you in my prayers

16  I have not ceased giving thanks for you, calling you to mind in my prayers,

16  Never cease to give thanks for your sakes and to mention you in my prayers;

17  that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,

18  the eyes of your heart having been enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

18  May the eyes of your heart be illuminated, so that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and the wealth of the glory of his inheritance with the saints,

18  And so that the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the glorious riches of his inheritance in the saints;

19  and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power

19  and the preeminent magnitude of his virtue toward us, toward we who believe in accord with the work of his powerful virtue,

20  which He worked in Christ, having raised Him from the dead, and seated [Him] at His right hand in the heavenlies,

20  Which he wrought through Christ, when he raised him from the dead and set him at his own right hand in heaven,

21  above every ruler and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the coming [age].

21  far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come

22  And He subjected all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,

22  And he has subjected all things under his feet, and he has made him the head over the entire Church,

22  And has put all things under his feet, and made him, who is above all things, the head of the church,

23  which is His body, the fullness of Him filling all things in all.

23  which is his body and which is the fullness of him who accomplishes everything in everyone.
