Let love of the brethren continue.

May fraternal charity remain in you.

Do not forget hospitality, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.

Forget not to show love unto strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

And do not be willing to forget hospitality. For by it, certain persons, without realizing it, have received Angels as guests.

Remember the prisoners as if having been bound with them, those who are ill treated, as you yourselves are in the body also.

Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; them that are illtreated, as being yourselves also in the body.

Remember those who are prisoners, just as if you were imprisoned with them, and those who endure hardships, just as if you were in their place.

Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

[Let] marriage [be] had in honor among all, and [let] the bed [be] undefiled: for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

May marriage be honorable in every way, and may the marriage bed be immaculate. For God will judge fornicators and adulterers.

Let [your] way of life [be] without loving money, being satisfied with what you have. For He Himself has said, "By no means shall I desert you, nor in any way shall I forsake you;"

Do not be carried away by the love of money; but be content with what you have: for the LORD himself has said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

so that being confident, we may say: "YHWH is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?"

Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you, of whom considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith.

Do not be carried away with various and strange doctrines. For it is good [for] the heart to be established by grace, not by foods, by which those having walked were not profited.

Be not carried away by divers and strange teachings: for it is good that the heart be established by grace; not by meats, wherein they that occupied themselves were not profited.

11  For of the animals, [whose ]blood is brought into the Holies by the high priest [as an offering ]for sin, the bodies [of these animals] are burned outside the camp.

11  For the bodies of those beasts whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest [as an offering] for sin, are burned without the camp.

11  For the flesh of the beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, is burned outside the camp.

12  Therefore Jesus also, so that He might sanctify the people through His own blood, suffered outside the gate.

12  Because of this, Jesus, too, in order to sanctify the people by his own blood, suffered outside the gate.

12  Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify his people with his own blood, suffered outside the city.

13  Therefore let us go out to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach.

13  Let us therefore go forth unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

14  For we have no permanent city, but we seek the [city ]which is to come.

14  For in this place, we have no everlasting city; instead, we seek one in the future.

14  For here we have not a permanent city, but we seek one to come.

15  Therefore through Him let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, confessing to His name.

15  Through him then let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which make confession to his name.

15  By him, therefore, let us always offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of the lips giving thanks to his name.

16  But do not forget the doing of good and generosity, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

16  But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

16  And do not forget kindness and fellowship with the poor: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

17  Obey your leaders, and submit to [them], for they keep watch over your souls, as giving an account, in order that they may do this with joy and not groaning, for this [would be] unprofitable for you.

17  Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit [to them]: for they watch in behalf of your souls, as they that shall give account; that they may do this with joy, and not with grief: for this [were] unprofitable for you.

18  Pray for us; for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live commendably.

18  Pray for us. For we trust that we have a good conscience, being willing to conduct ourselves well in all things.

19  And I exhort [you] the more exceedingly to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

20  Now may the God of peace, who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the everlasting covenant,

20  Now the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, [even] our Lord Jesus,

20  Then may the God of peace, who led back from the dead that great Pastor of sheep, our Lord Jesus Christ, with the blood of the eternal testament,

21  make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing before Him, through Jesus Christ, to whom [be] glory forever and ever. Amen.

21  make you perfect in every good thing to do his will, working in us that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] the glory for ever and ever. Amen.

22  And I beg you, brothers, that you may permit this word of consolation, especially since I have written to you with few words.
