For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world.

17  If anyone desires to do His will, he will know about the doctrine, whether it is from God, or whether I am speaking on My own authority.

19  Has not Moses given you the law, yet none of you keeps the law? Why are you seeking to kill Me?"

22  Because of this Moses has given you circumcision (not that it is from Moses, but from the fathers), and you circumcise a man on [the] Sabbath.

23  If a man receives circumcision on [the] Sabbath, so that the law of Moses should not be broken, are you angry with Me because I made a man completely well on [the] Sabbath?

28  Therefore Jesus cried out, as He was teaching in the temple, saying, "You both know Me, and you know where I am from; and I have not come on my own, but He who sent Me is true, whom you do not know.

28  Jesus therefore cried in the temple, teaching and saying, Ye both know me, and know whence I am; and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.

28  Therefore, Jesus cried out in the temple, teaching and saying: “You know me, and you also know where I am from. And I have not arrived of myself, but he who sent me is true, and him you do not know.

33  Then Jesus said, "Yet a little while am I with you, and [then] I go to Him who sent Me.

33  Therefore, Jesus said to them: “For a brief time, I am still with you, and then I am going to him who sent me.

35  Then the Jews said among themselves, Where is he going, that we cannot find him? why, is he planning to go to the countries of the Gentiles, to teach the pagans?

39  Now he said this about the Spirit, which those who believe in him would soon be receiving. For the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet been glorified.

8:4  they said to Him, "Teacher, we found this [woman ]committing adultery, in the very act.

they say unto him, Teacher, this woman hath been taken in adultery, in the very act.

And they said to him: “Teacher, this woman was just now caught in adultery.

8:5  Now Moses, in our law, commanded to cast stones at such. Therefore what do You say?"

And in the law, Moses commanded us to stone such a one. Therefore, what do you say?”

Now in the law of Moses it is commanded that women such as these should be stoned; but what do you say?

8:6  But this they said, testing Him, that they might have an accusation against Him. But Jesus, stooping down, began to write on the ground with His finger, not taking notice.

And this they said, trying him, that they might have [whereof] to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground.

8:7  And while they were continuing questioning Him, rising up, He said unto them, "He who is without sin among you, let him [be the ]first to cast a stone at her."

8:8  And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground.

And bending down again, he wrote on the earth.

8:9  And those who heard [it] began to go out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman being in the midst.

But upon hearing this, they went away, one by one, beginning with the eldest. And Jesus alone remained, with the woman standing in front of him.

8:10  And standing up and seeing no one but the woman, Jesus said to her, "Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?"

10  And Jesus lifted up himself, and said unto her, Woman, where are they? did no man condemn thee?

10  When Jesus straightened himself up, he said to the woman, Where are they?

8:11  She said, "No one, Lord."And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more."

11  And she said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said, Neither do I condemn thee: go thy way; from henceforth sin no more.

8:12  Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He that follows Me shall by no means walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

8:48  Then the Jews answered and said to Him, "Do we not say well that You are a Samaritan, and You have a demon?"

48  Therefore, the Jews responded and said to him, “Are we not correct in saying that you are a Samaritan, and that you have a demon?”
