4:26  And all the fat thereof shall he make smoke upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace-offerings; and the priest shall make atonement for him as concerning his sin, and he shall be forgiven.

26  Yet truly, the fat he shall burn upon it, just as is usually done with the victims of peace offerings. And the priest shall pray for him and for his sin, and he shall be released from it.

26  And he shall burn all its fat upon the altar as the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin and it shall be forgiven him.

4:27  And if any one of the common people sin through error, in doing any of the things which YHWH hath commanded not to be done, and be guilty

27  And if a soul of the people of the land should sin unwillingly, in doing a thing contrary to any of the commandments of the Lord, which ought not to be done, and shall transgress,

27  But if a soul from the people of the land will have sinned through ignorance, so as to have done any of those things that the law of the Lord prohibits, and so commit a transgression,

4:28  if his sin, which he hath sinned, be known to him, then he shall bring for his offering a goat, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.

28  and he shall realize his sin: he shall offer an immaculate she-goat.

4:29  And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin-offering, and kill the sin-offering in the place of burnt-offering.

29  And he shall place his hand upon the head of the victim which is for sin. And he shall immolate it in the place of the holocaust.

4:30  And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt-offering, and all the remaining blood thereof shall he pour out at the base of the altar.

30  And the priest shall take some of the blood with his finger, and touching the horns of the altar of holocaust, he shall pour out the remainder at its base.

4:31  And all the fat thereof shall he take away, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace-offerings; and the priest shall make it smoke upon the altar for a sweet savour unto YHWH; and the priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be forgiven.

31  But taking away all the fat, just as it is usually taken away from the victims of peace offerings, he shall burn it upon the altar as a sweet odor to the Lord. And he shall pray for him, and he shall be released from it.

4:32  And if he bring a lamb as his offering for a sin-offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.

32  And if he should offer a lamb for his sin-offering, he shall offer it a female without blemish.

32  But if instead he will offer from the flock a victim for his sin, specifically, an immaculate female sheep

4:33  And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin-offering, and kill it for a sin-offering in the place where they kill the burnt- offering.

33  he shall place his hand upon its head, and he shall immolate it in the place where the victims of holocausts are usually slain.

4:34  And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt-offering, and all the remaining blood thereof shall he pour out at the base of the altar.

34  And the priest shall take some of its blood with his finger, and touching the horns of the altar of holocaust, he shall pour out the remainder at its base.

4:35  And all the fat thereof shall he take away, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of peace-offerings; and the priest shall make them smoke on the altar, upon the offerings of YHWH made by fire; and the priest shall make atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned, and he shall be forgiven.

35  And he shall take away all his fat, as the fat of the lamb of the sacrifice of peace-offering is taken away, and the priest shall put it on the altar for a whole-burnt-offering to the Lord; and the priest shall make atonement for him for the sin which he sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.

35  Likewise, all of the fat shall be taken away, just as the fat of the ram, which is immolated for peace offerings, is usually taken away. And he shall burn it upon the altar as an incense of the Lord. And he shall pray for him and for his sin, and he shall be released from it.
