Because I kept silence, my bones waxed old, from my crying all the day.

For day and night Thy hand was heavy upon me; my sap was turned as in the droughts of summer. Selah

For, day and night, your hand was heavy upon me. I have been converted in my anguish, while still the thorn is piercing.

I acknowledged my sin unto Thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid; I said: 'I will make confession concerning my transgressions unto YHWH'--and Thou, Thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah

I have acknowledged my offense to you, and I have not concealed my injustice. I said, “I will confess against myself, my injustice to the Lord,” and you forgave the impiety of my sin.
