Romans 14:0; 8:1–39

[There is] therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus.

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who are not walking according to the flesh.

Byz Nes V S TR

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and of death.

Byz V
Nes TR

For what [was] impossible [for] the law to do in that it was weak through the flesh, God [did] by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and concerning sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh

For the law was weak through the weakness of the flesh, so God sent his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin, in order to condemn sin by means of his flesh

so that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, for we do not walk after the things of the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For those who are fleshly set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those [who live] according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

For they that are after the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

For those who are in agreement with the flesh are mindful of the things of the flesh. But those who are in agreement with the spirit are mindful of the things of the spirit.

Byz Nes

For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace.

For the prudence of the flesh is death. But the prudence of the spirit is life and peace.

To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace;

Because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not submit to the law of God, nor indeed can it.

And the wisdom of the flesh is inimical to God. For it is not subject to the law of God, nor can it be.

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, because it cannot be.

Byz Nes TR

And those that are in the flesh cannot please God.

So those who are in the flesh are not able to please God.

Byz Nes V S TR

But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

10  But if Christ is in you, the body indeed is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is alive because of righteousness.

Byz Nes V TR
S

11  But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit indwelling in you.

11  And if the Spirit of Him who raised our LORD Jesus Christ from the dead dwells within you, so he who raised Jesus Christ from the dead will also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells within you.

Byz Nes V S TR

12  Therefore, brothers, we are debtors-not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.

Byz V
Nes S TR

13  For if you live according to the flesh you shall die; but if by [the] Spirit you put to death the practices of the body, you will live.

13  for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Byz Nes V TR

14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

14  Those who are led by the Spirit of God, are the sons of God.

Byz Nes S TR

15  For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again unto fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."

15  And you have not received, again, a spirit of servitude in fear, but you have received the Spirit of the adoption of sons, in whom we cry out: “Abba, Father!”

Byz Nes TR

16  The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.

16  For the Spirit himself renders testimony to our spirit that we are the sons of God.

16  And this Spirit bears witness to our spirit, that we are the children of God

Byz Nes S TR

17  And if children, then heirs-heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer together, so that we may also be glorified together.

17  But if we are sons, then we are also heirs: certainly heirs of God, but also co-heirs with Christ, yet in such a way that, if we suffer with him, we shall also be glorified with him.

Byz Nes V TR

18  For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy [to be compared] with the coming glory to be revealed in us.

18  For I reckon that the sufferings of the present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Byz Nes V S TR

19  For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly awaits the unveiling of the sons of God.

Byz Nes
V TR
S

20  For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but on account of Him who subjected it in hope;

20  For the creature was made subject to emptiness, not willingly, but for the sake of the One who made it subject, unto hope.

20  For man was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who gave him free will in the hope he would choose rightly.

Byz TR

21  because even the creation itself shall be freed from the slavery of corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.

21  that the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.

21  Because man himself shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Byz Nes S TR
V

22  For we know that all the creation groans together and labors in birth together until now.

22  For we know that every creature groans inwardly, as if giving birth, even until now;

23  And not only that, but also [we ]ourselves having the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting adoption, the redemption of our body.

23  and not only these, but also ourselves, since we hold the first-fruits of the Spirit. For we also groan within ourselves, anticipating our adoption as the sons of God, and the redemption of our body.

Byz Nes V TR
S

24  For by this hope we were saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he[ ]sees?

24  For we live in hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for if we see it, why should we yet hope?

Byz Nes S TR
V

25  But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly await it with endurance.

25  But since we hope for what we do not see, we wait with patience.

Byz S TR

26  Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings.

26  And in like manner the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity: for we know not how to pray as we ought; but the Spirit himself maketh intercession for [us] with groanings which cannot be uttered;

26  And similarly, the Spirit also helps our weakness. For we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself asks on our behalf with ineffable sighing.

Byz Nes S TR
V

27  But He that searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes on behalf of the saints according to [the will] [of] God.

27  And he who examines hearts knows what the Spirit seeks, because he asks on behalf of the saints in accordance with God.

Byz Nes V S TR

28  And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to [His ]purpose.

Byz Nes TR V

29  Because whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers.

29  He knew them in advance and he marked them with the likeness of the image of his Son that he might be the first-born among many brethren.

Byz V TR
Nes

30  Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

30  and whom he foreordained, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

30  Moreover, those he did mark in advance, he has called, and those he has called, he has declared righteous, and those he has declared righteous, he has glorified.

Byz Nes S TR

31  What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who [can be] against us?

31  So, what should we say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

Byz Nes V TR
S

32  He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up on behalf of us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

32  If he did not spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, why will he not freely give us all things with him?

Byz S TR
Nes TR

33  Who shall bring an accusation against God's elect? It is God who justifies.

33  Who shall lay anything to the charge of God`s elect? It is God that justifieth;

33  Who will make an accusation against the elect of God? God is the One who justifies;

Byz TR Nes V

34  Who is he that condemns? Christ is the [One] having died, but rather also having been raised, who is even at [the] right [hand] of God, who also intercedes on our behalf.

34  Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died and rose again, and he is at the right hand of God making intercession for us.

Byz Nes S TR

35  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?

35  Then who will separate us from the love of Christ? Tribulation? Or anguish? Or famine? Or nakedness? Or peril? Or persecution? Or the sword?

Byz Nes TR

36  Just as it is written: "For Your sake we are put to death the whole day long; we are accounted as sheep for slaughter."

36  For it is as it has been written: “For your sake, we are being put to death all day long. We are being treated like sheep for the slaughter.”

36  As it is written, For your sake we die every day, and we are accounted as lambs for the slaughter.

Byz Nes V S TR

37  But in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Byz Nes TR

38  For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,

38  For I am certain that neither death, nor life, nor Angels, nor Principalities, nor Powers, nor the present things, nor the future things, nor strength,

38  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor empires, nor armies, nor things present, nor things to come,

Byz Nes V S TR

39  nor height nor depth, nor anything else in creation, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
