Therefore, brothers, I exhort you through the compassions of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, well pleasing to God, [which is] your reasonable service.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, [which is] your spiritual service.

And so, I beg you, brothers, by the mercy of God, that you offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, with the subservience of your mind.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and well pleasing and perfect will of God.

And do not choose to be conformed to this age, but instead choose to be reformed in the newness of your mind, so that you may demonstrate what is the will of God: what is good, and what is well-pleasing, and what is perfect.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself too highly, beyond what you should think, but to think soberly, as God has imparted to each one a measure of faith.

For I say, through the grace that has been given to me, to all who are among you: Taste no more than it is necessary to taste, but taste unto sobriety and just as God has distributed a share of the faith to each one.

For just as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function,

For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members have not the same office

For just as, within one body, we have many parts, though all the parts do not have the same role,

so we, [being] many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.

so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and severally members one of another.

so also we, being many, are one body in Christ, and each one is a part, the one of the other.

Having then gifts differing according to the grace having been given to us, [let us use them]: whether prophecy, [let us prophecy] according to the proportion of faith;

And having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us, whether prophecy, [let us prophesy] according to the proportion of our faith;

And we each have different gifts, according to the grace that has been given to us: whether prophecy, in agreement with the reasonableness of faith;

whether ministry, [let us use it] in our ministry; whether teaching; in the teaching;

or ministry, [let us give ourselves] to our ministry; or he that teacheth, to his teaching;

Some have the gift of ministration, in his ministry; and some of teaching, in his teaching.

whether exhorting, in the exhortation; whether sharing, with simplicity; whether leading, with diligence; whether showing mercy, with cheerfulness.

or he that exhorteth, to his exhorting: he that giveth, [let him do it] with liberality; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that showeth mercy, with cheerfulness.

he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, in simplicity; he who governs, in solicitude; he who shows mercy, in cheerfulness.

[Let] love [be] without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.

Let love be without falseness: hating evil, clinging to what is good,

Let not your love be deceitful. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

19  Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place unto the wrath [of God]: for it is written, Vengeance belongeth unto me; I will recompense, saith the Lord.

19  Do not defend yourselves, dearest ones. Instead, step aside from wrath. For it is written: “Vengeance is mine. I shall give retribution, says the Lord.”
