And unto Moses He said: 'Come up unto YHWH, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off;

And to Moses he said, Go up to the Lord, thou and Aaron and Nadab and Abiud, and seventy of the elders of Israel: and they shall worship the Lord from a distance.

He also said to Moses: “Ascend to the Lord, you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy elders out of Israel, and adore from a distance.

And Moses came and told the people all the words of YHWH, and all the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice, and said: 'All the words which YHWH hath spoken will we do.'

And Moses went in and related to the people all the words of God and the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice, saying, All the words which the Lord has spoken, we will do and be obedient.

Therefore, Moses went and explained to the people all the words of the Lord, as well as the judgments. And all the people responded with one voice: “We will do all the words of the Lord, which he has spoken.”

And Moses wrote all the words of YHWH, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the mount, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.

And he sent the young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt-offerings, and sacrificed peace-offerings of oxen unto YHWH.

And he sent forth the young men of the children of Israel, and they offered whole burnt-offerings, and they sacrificed young calves as a peace-offering to God.

And he sent youths from the sons of Israel, and they offered holocausts, and they immolated calves as peace-offerings to the Lord.

M G S Sam

And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basins; and half of the blood he dashed against the altar.

And so Moses took one half part of the blood, and he put it into bowls. Then the remaining part he poured over the altar.

And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the hearing of the people; and they said: 'All that YHWH hath spoken will we do, and obey.'

And taking up the book of the covenant, he read it in the hearing of the people, who said: “All that the Lord has spoken, we will do, and we will be obedient.”

And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said: 'Behold the blood of the covenant, which YHWH hath made with you in agreement with all these words.'

In truth, taking up the blood, he sprinkled it on the people, and he said, “This is the blood of the covenant, which the Lord has formed with you concerning all these words.”
