Et il fit encore un autre rêve et le raconta à ses frères et dit :

— Voici que j'ai encore fait un rêve et voici que le soleil et la lune et onze étoiles se prosternent devant moi.

Et il vit un autre rêve et l'exposa en détail à son père et à ses frères et dit :

— Voici que j'ai fait un autre rêve de même le soleil et la lune et onze étoiles se prosternaient devant moi.

Il vit aussi un autre rêve et, le racontant à ses frères, il dit :

— J'ai vu à travers un rêve le soleil, la lune et onze étoiles se prosterner devant moi en quelque sorte.

Composition

Haendel composa un oratorio en trois actes sur l'histoire de Joseph et de ses frères.

Cet oratorio est de caractère narratif, ce qui le rapproche beaucoup d'un opéra.
