1 Now concerning spiritual [gifts], brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant.
2 You know that when you were pagans, how you were led, being carried away to these speechless idols.
2 Ye know that when ye were Gentiles [ye were] led away unto those dumb idols, howsoever ye might led.
2 That once you were pagans, and without exception you were carried away by dumb idols.
3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says "Jesus be cursed,"and no one can say that Jesus [is] Lord except by the Holy Spirit.
3 Wherefore I make known unto you, that no man speaking in the Spirit of God saith, Jesus is anathema; and no man can say, Jesus is Lord, but in the Holy Spirit.
3 Because of this, I would have you know that no one speaking in the Spirit of God utters a curse against Jesus. And no one is able to say that Jesus is Lord, except in the Holy Spirit.
4 Now there are varieties of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit.
4 Truly, there are diverse graces, but the same Spirit.
5 And there are varieties of ministries, but the same Lord.
6 And there are varieties of activities, but the same God works all in all.
6 And there are diverse works, but the same God, who works everything in everyone.
7 But to each [one] the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the profit [of all.]
7 However, the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one toward what is beneficial.
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man as help to him.
8 For to one is given a word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another a word of knowledge according to the same Spirit,
8 Certainly, to one, through the Spirit, is given words of wisdom; but to another, according to the same Spirit, words of knowledge;
