And getting into the boat, He crossed over and went into His own city.

And climbing into a boat, he crossed the sea, and he arrived at his own city.

SO he went up into the boat, and crossed over and came to his own city.

And behold, they were carrying a paralytic to Him lying on a bed. And when Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Have courage, child; your sins are forgiven you."

And behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, be of good cheer; thy sins are forgiven.

And they brought to him a paralytic, lying on a quilt-bed; and Jesus saw their faith, and he said to the paralytic, Have courage, my son; your sins have been forgiven.

And at once some of the scribes said among themselves, "This Man blasphemes!"

And behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.

But Jesus, perceiving their thoughts, said, "Why do you think evil in your hearts?

And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

And when Jesus had perceived their thoughts, he said: “Why do you think such evil in your hearts?

For which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Arise and walk'?

Which is easier to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise up and walk?’

For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?

But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on the earth to forgive sins"-then He said to the paralytic, "Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house."

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins (then saith he to the sick of the palsy), Arise, and take up thy bed, and go up unto thy house.

Now when the crowds saw, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

Then the crowd, seeing this, was frightened, and they glorified God, who gave such power to men.

But when the crowds saw it, they were frightened, and they glorified God, because he had given such power as this to men.
