1 Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

1 O God, hearken to my petition; attend to my prayer.

1 O God, pay attention to my supplication. Be attentive to my prayer.
2 From the end of the earth will I call unto Thee, when my heart fainteth; lead me to a rock that is too high for me.
Ps60:2 I cried out to you from the ends of the earth. When my heart was in anguish, you exalted me on a rock. You have led me,
3 For Thou hast been a refuge for me, a tower of strength in the face of the enemy.
3 because thou wert my hope, a tower of strength from the face of the enemy.
Ps60:3 for you have been my hope, a tower of strength before the face of the enemy.
4 I will dwell in Thy Tent for ever; I will take refuge in the covert of Thy wings. Selah
Ps60:4 I will dwell in your tabernacle forever. I will be protected under the cover of your wings.
4 I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever; I will make my refuge the shadow of thy wings.
5 For Thou, O God, hast heard my vows; Thou hast granted the heritage of those that fear Thy name.
Ps60:5 For you, my God, have listened to my prayer. You have granted an inheritance to those who fear your name.
6 Mayest Thou add days unto the king's days! May his years be as many generations!
6 Thou shalt add days to the days of the king; thou shalt lengthen his years to all generations.
Ps60:6 You will add days to the days of the king, to his years, even to the time of generation after generation.
7 May he be enthroned before God for ever! Appoint mercy and truth, that they may preserve him.
7 He shall endure for ever before God: which of them will seek out his mercy and truth?
Ps60:7 He remains in eternity, in the sight of God. Who will long for his mercy and truth?
8 So will I sing praise unto Thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
Ps60:8 So I will compose a psalm to your name, forever and ever, so that I may repay my vows from day to day.
