1 My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises, even with my glory.
title Song of a Psalm by David.
1 O God, my heart is ready, my heart is ready; I will sing and sing psalms with my glory.
2 Awake, psaltery and harp; I will awake the dawn.
Ps107:2 Rise up, my glory. Rise up, Psalter and harp. I will arise in early morning.
2 Awake, my harp; awake, psaltery and harp; I myself will awake early.
3 I will give thanks unto Thee, O YHWH, among the peoples; and I will sing praises unto Thee among the nations.
Ps107:3 I will confess to you, O Lord, among the peoples. And I will sing psalms to you among the nations.
3 I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people; and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.
4 For Thy mercy is great above the heavens, and Thy truth reacheth unto the skies.
Ps107:4 For your mercy is great, beyond the heavens, and your truth, even to the clouds.
5 Be Thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; and Thy glory be above all the earth.
Ps107:5 Be exalted, O God, beyond the heavens, and your glory, beyond all the earth,
6 That Thy beloved may be delivered, save with Thy right hand, and answer me.
6 That thy beloved ones may be delivered, save with thy right hand, and hear me. God has spoken in his sanctuary;
Ps107:6 so that your beloved may be freed. Save with your right hand, and heed me.
7 God spoke in His holiness, that I would exult; that I would divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
7 I will be exalted, and will divide Sicima, and will measure out the valley of tents.
Ps107:7 God has spoken in his holiness. I will exult, and I will divide Shechem, and I will divide by measure the steep valley of tabernacles.
8 Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the defence of my head; Judah is my sceptre.
8 Galaad is mine; and Manasses is mine; and Ephraim is the help of mine head; Judas is my king;
9 Moab is my washpot; upon Edom do I cast my shoe; over Philistia do I cry aloud.
9 Moab is the caldron of my hope; over Idumea will I cast my sandal; the Philistines are made subject to me.
Ps107:9 Moab is the cooking pot of my hope. I will extend my shoe in Idumea; the foreigners have become my friends.
10 Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will lead me unto Edom?
Ps107:10 Who will lead me into the fortified city? Who will lead me, even into Idumea?
11 Hast not Thou cast us off, O God? and Thou goest not forth, O God, with our hosts?
11 Wilt not thou, O God, who hast rejected us? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?
Ps107:11 Will not you, O God, who had rejected us? And will not you, O God, go out with our armies?
12 Give us help against the adversary; for vain is the help of man.
Ps107:12 Grant us help from tribulation, for vain is the help of man.
12 Give us strength against our enemies; for vain is the help of man.
13 Through God we shall do valiantly; for He it is that will tread down our adversaries.
Ps107:13 In God, we will act virtuously, and he will bring our enemies to nothing.
