1 Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came to [Him] to point out to Him the buildings of the temple.
1 And Jesus went out from the temple, and was going on his way; and his disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.
2 But Jesus said to them, "Do you not see all these things? Assuredly I say to you, by no means will a stone be left here upon a stone, which shall not be thrown down."
2 But he answered and said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
2 But he said to them in response: “Do you see all these things? Amen I say to you, there shall not remain here stone upon stone, which is not torn down.”
3 And as He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when shall these things be? And what [shall be] the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?"
3 Then, when he was seated at the Mount of Olives, the disciples drew near to him privately, saying: “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of your advent and of the consummation of the age?”
3 While Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives, his disciples came up talking among themselves, and they said to him, Tell us when these things will happen, and what is the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you.
4 And answering, Jesus said to them: “Pay attention, lest someone lead you astray.
4 Jesus answered and said to them, Be careful that no man deceives you.
5 For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and they will deceive many.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and shall lead many astray.
6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See [that] you are not disturbed; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
6 You are bound to hear of revolutions and rumors of wars; look out and do not be disturbed; for all of these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.
8 But all these things[ are ]the beginning of sorrows.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then they will hand you over to tribulation and they will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations, on account of My name.
9 Then shall they deliver you up unto tribulation, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all the nations for my name`s sake.
9 Then they will deliver you over to be oppressed, and they will kill you; and you will be hated by all nations for my nameÆs sake.
10 And then many will fall away, and they will betray one another, and they will hate one another.
10 And then shall many stumble, and shall deliver up one another, and shall hate one another.
10 Then many will stumble, and they will hate one another, and betray one another.
11 Then many false prophets will be raised up, and they will deceive many.
11 And many false prophets shall arise, and shall lead many astray.
12 And because lawlessness will increase, the love of many will grow cold.
12 And because iniquity shall be multiplied, the love of the many shall wax cold.
12 And because of the growth of iniquity, the love of many will become cold.
13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
13 But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.
13 But whoever will have persevered until the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
14 And this Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached throughout the entire world, as a testimony to all nations. And then the consummation will occur.
15 "Therefore when you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place"(whoever reads, let him understand),
15 When you see the sign of the refuse of desolation, as spoken by the prophet Daniel, accumulating in the holy place, whoever reads will understand it.
16 then let those who are in Judea flee upon the mountains.
17 Let the [one] on the housetop not go down to take the things out of his house.
17 let him that is on the housetop not go down to take out things that are in his house
17 And whoever is on the roof, let him not descend to take anything from his house.
18 And let the [one] in the field not turn back to take his clothes.
18 And whoever is in the field, let him not turn back to take his tunic.
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19 But woe to those [women ]who are pregnant, and to the [women] nursing a baby in those days!
19 But woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days!
19 So then, woe to those who are pregnant or nursing in those days.
20 But pray that your flight may not take place in winter, nor [on] the Sabbath.
20 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on a sabbath
20 Pray that your flight may not be in winter, nor on the sabbath.
21 For then there shall be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until now, nor by any means shall be.
21 For then will be great suffering, such as has never happened from the beginning of the world until now, and never will be again.
22 And unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake, those days will be cut short.
22 And except those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved: but for the elect`s sake those days shall be shortened.
22 And if those days were not shortened, no flesh would live; but for the sake of the chosen ones those days will be shortened.
23 Then if someone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There!' do not believe [it].
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is the Christ, or, Here; believe [it] not.
23 Then if anyone will have said to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or ‘he is there,’ do not be willing to believe it.
24 For false christs and false prophets will be raised up, and they will show great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.
24 For there will arise false Christs and false prophets. And they will produce great signs and wonders, so much so as to lead into error even the elect (if this could be).
25 See, I have told you in advance.
25 Behold, I have told you beforehand.
26 Therefore if they should say to you, 'Look, He is in the desert!' do not go out; or 'Look, He is in the inner rooms!' do not believe [it].
26 If therefore they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the wilderness; go not forth: Behold, he is in the inner chambers; believe [it] not.
26 Therefore, if they will have said to you, ‘Behold, he is in the desert,’ do not choose to go out, or, ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not be willing to believe it.
27 For as the lightning comes out from the east and flashes to the west, so shall also be the coming of the Son of Man.
27 For just as lightning goes out from the east, and appears even in the west, so shall it be also at the advent of the Son of man.
28 For wherever the carcass may be, there the eagles will be gathered together.
28 Wherever the body shall be, there also will the eagles be gathered together.
29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give its light; and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
29 Immediately after the suffering of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give her light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the universe will be shaken.
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
30 Then the sign of the Son of man will appear in the sky; and then all the generations of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of the sky, with an army and great glory.
31 And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 "Now learn this parable from the fig tree: Whenever its branch already becomes tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.
32 From the fig tree learn a parable. As soon as its branches become tender and bring forth leaves, you know that summer is coming.
33 So you also, whenever you see all these things, know that it is near-at the doors!
33 even so ye also, when ye see all these things, know ye that he is nigh, [even] at the doors.
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Assuredly I say to you, this generation shall by no means pass away till all these things are fulfilled.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all these things be accomplished.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall by no means pass away.
35 Even heaven and earth will pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 "But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only.
37 But just as the days of Noah [were], so also shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
37 And just as in the days of Noah, so also will be the advent of the Son of man.
38 For just as they were in the days before the flood, eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
38 For it will be just as it was in the days before the flood: eating and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, even until that day when Noah entered into the ark.
38 For as the people before the flood were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered into the ark,
39 and they didn't know [a thing] until the flood came and took [them] all away, so also shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
39 and they knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall be the coming of the Son of man.
40 Then two will be in the field: one will be taken, and one will be left.
40 Then shall two man be in the field; one is taken, and one is left
41 Two will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken, and one will be left.
41 two women [shall be] grinding at the mill; one is taken, and one is left.
41 Two women will be grinding at a millstone: one will be taken up, and one will be left behind.
42 Watch therefore, for you do not know in what hour your Lord is coming.
42 Therefore, be vigilant. For you do not know at what hour your Lord will return.
43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what hour the thief was coming, he would have kept watch, and he would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
43 But know this: if only the father of the family knew at what hour the thief would arrive, he would certainly keep vigil and not permit his house to be broken into.
44 For this reason you also must be ready, for at an hour that you think not, the Son of Man comes.
44 Therefore be ye also ready; for in an hour that ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master appointed over his household, to give them food in due season?
45 Consider this: who is a faithful and prudent servant, who has been appointed by his lord over his family, to give them their portion in due time?
46 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.
47 Assuredly I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his possessions.
47 Verily I say unto you, that he will set him over all that he hath.
47 Amen I say to you, he shall appoint him over all of his goods.
48 But if that evil servant should say in his heart, 'My master is delaying to come,'
48 But if a bad servant should say in his heart, My lord will delay his coming,
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49 "and should begin to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards,
49 and so, he begins to strike his fellow servants, and he eats and drinks with the inebriated
50 the master of that servant will come on a day which he does not expect, and in an hour which he does not know,
50 the lord of that servant shall come in a day when he expecteth not, and in an hour when he knoweth not,
50 then the lord of that servant will arrive on a day that he does not expect, and at an hour that he does not know.
51 and he will cut him in two, and will appoint his share with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
